1. Introduction

Welcome to Quantum Minds Science Tutoring, owned and operated by Damien Stringer. When booking a session with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

2. Services

Damien Stringer offers tutoring services in GCSE Science and A-Level Chemistry.Sessions are conducted in formats including one-on-one and group sessions and occur online, according to the needs and preferences discussed and agreed upon before commencement.

3. Payment Terms

•Fees: The fee for each session is agreed upon during the booking process and is payable one week in advance of the first session or as stated in the invoice. Payment secures the session slot and confirms acceptance of these terms.

•Cancellation: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please do so at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session start time and date to avoid being charged. Late cancellations will incur a 100% charge of the session fee.

•All spaces are payable, and no refunds are available. You pay for your child's place in the session. In the unlikely event of not attending, work will be emailed directly to you so your child can stay updated with the lesson sequence. Tutoring is sold in blocks, and when a block is booked the session time is reserved exclusively for that student for the duration of the programme.

•If we are unable to attend due to illness or other engagements, you will not be charged, issued a refund, or paid money off the next invoice, depending on what is the most appropriate.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials provided during tutoring sessions, including but not limited to worksheets, notes, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Quantum Minds Science Tutoring and are intended solely for the student's personal use. Reproduction or distribution without explicit permission is prohibited. We provide the materials. These are either materials designed in-house by our experts or bought from reputable companies such as CGP, Pearson and Collins. This is a business cost and is included in the payments you make for tuition. If you would like to purchase more resources to support the needs of your child, please speak with us so we can guide you in the purchase of the appropriate materials.
